I'd keep mine unlocked, but I hate the back of the seat rubbing against the back of the cab. My truck is the oldest one we have that does NOT have one or the other worn completely through. Riding locked is tough with a spring ride single screw. That takes quite a but of getting used to.

Those low back lumber support pillows work wonderful for me. The thickest ones you can find. Don't unload anything also , except yourself.

I knew a driver that did a Mkkesson run from KC to St Louis and back.Think he said he had a couple of armed guys in a "follow car" behind him always,to keep the meth heads from hi jacking the load.

For what it's worth if back pain persists, get checked out.

It can be a sign of prostate problems, one of the greatest health threats we truckers face.

That is a epitome of bs lunch counter story. He might have FREINDS going to a rendenvouz shoot with cased weapons, ammunition isolated and locked and the magazines somewhere else.

MOST people keep their #### mouth shut when transporting automatic weapons and such of that nature. Even if they pull up in a fancy show bus with a head turning client inisde worth trillions of dollars and would be either mobbed by teenage girls or carted off to ransom very easily. Ive run into dozens of these Performers and remember only two who allowed themselves to reveal their presence outside of filming. One was Bon Jovi who showed up to get a little bit of gasoline like everyone else and another was Ernest Bergoigyne. Big spelling issues. I need to research this...) best known for many roles in film, one of was was actually a TV series called Airwolf solving problems Authorities wont.

I myself have never messed with the Tour Buses of those on the road. But I an tell you that they are incredibly fast. 125 is really fast for a early 90's cabover and enouigh torque tomake most of the midwest flat. But when Mr Touring wants by you... you do your best to get him some room at a planned mile marker and maybe get to know one anohter. Usually a note book page with Mr Big Shot's named followed by your own resulting in the classic WTHRU? lol. More practiacal is to check out which of his loaded tractor trailers is trying to get too close to him.

I have the nice Bostrom seat. Heats and cools. No vibrating massage,. darn.

I take the air out of it because thats what I find the most comfortable position to drive. It does not feel natural to me when bouncing up and down on an air seat. I never liked it. So while you may look at me with confusion,.. I look at people who ride up high in those seats the same way.

Been riding this way since the late 80's. Personal preference I guess.

I'll take this post with a grain of salt. I actually enjoyed reading this believe it or not.

I understand you better. Sorry if things did not go well for you and I in the beginning.

If there is nothing physically wrong with your back you can likely remedy the situation by strengthening your core muscles
Lots of simple exercises you can google and require no equipment
Don't ever bend at waist to lift. Start lifting like a old man,,use your legs
