I do, but only because I've ran flats before going into the LTL sector.
A basic knowledge of physics does come in very handy for flatbed guys.

Well, by that I meant such things as putting chains/straps at the places on the freight that have reinforcement, as @Lepton1 pointed out.

A little update, he got busted in OK, don't know about the securement, I think the height dectors at the new scale on 40 told on him. It was after dark. I know he made to the job site late today. I do know it was his first tall load, always best to start out with a 15 tall.

Any idea what that fine might have been? 15ft with no permits at night?
