    HI,

New here. Anyone know of a company that does good with trucker tax returns?

There are several really good companies around.
Just make sure what ever company you use, that they have a full understanding of trucking taxes.
There are so many variables in the trucking industry, one screw up could cost you a bundle.
I've used ATBS several times. They're not the cheapest, but they are good, and trucking taxes is all they do, so they pretty good about keeping up on the laws.

Thanks everybody. A guy at a Love's stop recommending some company called cbo tax advisors and said they were good. Have to compare them with atbs. How much does atbs charge a company driver?

Thanks. Mind giving me a ballpark of what to expect for price for a company driver? Called the CBO company and they seemed pretty reasonable.

Forgot to mention, ADP out of Colorado is also good.
Price is going to depend on how derailed and itemized you want everything.
    Mine usually runs between 150 - 175.
Any company that knows trucking and what it takes for tax prep around the 200 range is reasonable.
Friend of mine uses a service up in Montana, not sure of the top what or who, but he pays about 400. But he does his trucking, as well as property, and I think the Misses has a small business on the side as well.
So it really depends on how much you want done, especially if you own property or investments.

    RoadHawg22 Thanks this.

If you are a company driver and all your income was from trucking it's easy enough to do your own taxes, online, for free. I've used Tax Act Online for maybe 8-10 years. If you are OTR don't forget to include IRS Form 2106 to take advantage of the IRS Meals & Incidentals deduction, sometimes wrongly called "per diem". That deduction could shield $15k or more from income tax.

I'm pretty simple but would rather not spend the time doing it. I can make more spending a few hours driving than it probably costs to get the return prepared. Plus some of them will represent you if you get audited. It's between the CBO company (quoted at around 175), and ATBS. Have to see where I go. Might check out your ADP option too.

Well, decided on cbo tax advisors, all virtual stuff so you can get it to them even if you're on the road. Easy process. Quoted me 175 and no higher.
