    Heys guys. ..
    I want your honest opions
My company me cut me short today so i could come in back in at 3am
Yeah i was kinda ticked about it because i knew i wouldn't get enough sleep to do this for them
So when i came in .... i jokingly said: " if only i could push a button and go to sleep, then i would get enough sleep to function in the truck "
So God forbid if anything happens atleast i tried to let you know ahead of time
....boy they didn't like to hear that and said they felt ththreatened by my statement
And my reply was " this is not a threat, it's a reality " and I feel bad that my body clock scares them but it's just the a simple truth and I'm not trying to threaten anyone
    ....am i wrong here?

Basically you told them you where unfit for duty and if anything happens it's there fault....That's how I read it anyway.

Regarding coming in @3am. I would of just told them no! Remember if anything bad happens they will still blame you. You're the driver.

Sounds like a passive aggressive threat to me. They should have sent you back home with no pay. As you stated, you were ticked at them.

Sometimes with a 10, switching one's circadian rhythms, is not enough time to get quality sleep, and to hit a switch and shut off like a lightbulb. I remember those days.....

Best wishes, @superflow .. let us know how it turns out for you.

I take it you're a local driver?Your 10 starts right when you log off duty and you must be at your trk ready to roll when your 10 is up.Your company will not cater to you loads come first. If you're not getting much sleep it's time to find a different line of work. You're not wrong with what you said you're being honest but companies don't wanna hear that and may find a reason to let you go.

I'm curious if they even know what a threat is?
