Not needed in my opinion, and I've heard from few posts on here that drivers were find for having one. I know it's been argued to no end in here about the legality of them, but personally I don't like them

Not really worried about the legalities I've found a few of those threads and have found no such laws banning them.

The Suicide knob was one time very common but the advent of power steering let to their downfall. Dot regs make their use perfectly legal in all states. They make backing easier as they allow you to spin your steering wheel quickly. The problem is that many steering wheels are padded and the process of installing a knob makes a dent in the steering wheel. Companies don't like that but if it is your truck, do what you want.
