Ok that's good. Yea there is no perfect company that's for sure. Well I guess I have to get used to a not so nice terminal coming from interstate that had everything at the terminals..

Bummer. My fuel book app doesn't work most of the time so i basically stopped using it. Didn't notice our discount went down. I need to start using it more.

We can fuel anywhere efs is accepted. I usually only fuel at loves bc there point system is better plus xtra 2 cents bc of roadrunner. They pay for your fuel tax. I dont know about the 2290.

O ok cool. So they don't take out $ per mile like interstate to cover that. Nice. Loves is ok I prefer the petro or flying j fuel but cool

They changed the fuel. We can only get 50 gallons outside of Loves, TAs and Petros.

You can use the RRTS app https://ic.rrts.com/login.aspx for fuel discounts. It's not as easy as fuelbook but it works. I didn't know about fuelbook till about three months ago.

We pay for our own insurance on the truck, OCC/ACC, base plates, truck payment, tolls and fuel. Thats it I think. They ask us not to put more than 50 gallons in in Oregon something with the fuel tax.

Here's the thing about this company. They really leave you alone. They expect you to be able to make your own decisions. Of course if you need help they will help you. They aren't going route you, give you fuel stops, on produce loads we make our own appointments for most pick ups. It's different than any other company I've been at. The dispatchers here are load planners at other companies but you have to tell them your hours available. You don't just deal with one person here. We have Cody, Sully and Mike in California, Nevada and Arizona. Orv in the Northwest. Kurt in the east to mid west. Nick in the northern middle states. Ron in the southern middle states. It takes them a couple of months to get to know you and see how you like to run.

You can make good money here. Have to be smart about fueling and know how to run a truck. I had emergency surgery last year and lost about 5 weeks but my truck still made 178,000. Not bad. I put almost 100,000 of that into my bank. Getting my numbers done now, should know by the end of next week. If you're willing to run they will run you. You got to know how to handle your log books and know how to run if you don't you won't do well.
