You are correct in the fact that I do also follow along on TT, however I do not completely agree with everything they seem to be about. I am currently with a mega, they trained me and are giving me OTR experience at decent pay (started at 46cpm, currently 47cpm avg tween 2500-3000 miles/week). I do plan to find a smaller, home more company when time is right and I completely disagree that all O/O or L/O are destined for failure. If you know how to operate a business and are willing to work, many drivers, small fleet owners are very successful. You are also right that not everyone is necessarily a whiner but I generally get that feeling as I have noticed there seems to be no shortage of folks in this business, as with most in life, that lack the ability to take any responsibility for their situation and find any and everything else they can to lay blame.

    Up date:
...yes there was a small scurtion over this Incident but only from the little Hitler dispatcher that thinks i want his job.
Sometimes you just gotta hold your ground with your company , because when they get away with giving you some stink, it doesn't stop and it might get worse from there on.
As far as the devious dispatcher? .... well let's just say i drew him off the high ground

Drew him off the high ground by holding my tongue and having a good additude & not letting him get under my thick skin
Soon enough the operations manager figures out who the real problem is : control freak dispatcher

If you feel you can't work then don't. I used to work for someone who would ask me to run illegal almost every day. Sometimes I'd do it sometimes I'd not even go to work, they couldn't do anything about it they couldn't find drivers so if I didn't want to drive they'd have to suck it up.

I eventually left and all their management is now fired and all the drivers got raises and don't run illegal anymore.

Maybe find a job that better suits you, I did now I like driving truck again.

Give them enough rope and they will hang themselves. ...
Everyone in the office is starting to realize this guy is a little Hilter
....thing is: not only that but he also leaves alot of loose ends, so frt is not getting picked up .

That is what I'm getting also. He is whining because he didn't manage his off duty time and had to come in tired and verbally complained with a thinly veiled threat, BUT out the other side of his face he has whined about not getting anything extra for this as if an extra penny would have woken him up or something.

Verbal threats are useless, put in an email or text if you are serious.
