Schneider Bulk
scythe08 and Bama Roadrunner Thank this. -
Schneider training is three weeks, with the second week out on the road with a training engineer. You still are on the road the first and third week but that's mostly backing and driving around your training OC.
Schneider does try to keep you rolling but if freight is soft or you are in a dead zone or trying to get home, you may end up sitting.
Trucks are being set to 63 for van and bulk. Automatics are replacing manuals fleet wide.Rocknroller4, SingingWolf and Bama Roadrunner Thank this. -
Appreciate the info man have you ever drove for Schneider before?
-
Currently driving for Schneider.

McElroy put me out with the worst trainer ever. He was good at talking on the phone, picking his fever blistered lips, and complaining about McElroy. Three weeks of that... Missed my daughter's birthday being out with him.
Other than that, you'll tarp ever single load even when they'll be zero rain for months on end.
Lowe's loads are awkward to strap and tarp and may be overweight.
Other than Lowe's, lots of waiting for drop and hooks to get loaded. -
Which division are you in are you in Dry van or Tanker division?
-
Sounds like Mcelroy treated you wrong and that sucks not being able to see your daughters birthday. Thanks for the information man

Schneider dry van sucks, can't speak for tanker yankers. Hopefully they're getting more miles these days, I know it was slow there for a while.
