Getting backhauls to this area can be tough. I would pull out of Memphis if I could get back. The upper Midwest has a lot of freight coming and going which helps.

That's how you get direct shippers.
spyder7723, Ruthless and cke Thank this. -
Oh I don't know how I'd ever figure out how to find loads if it weren't for the almighty load broker.................lolspyder7723 Thanks this.

Loaded miles or all miles

Wish I could thank and share.

Where do you ship to out of Memphis? I'm trying to set up a round trip lane.
-
I personally don't. I do few flatbed loads out of there to cherry hill paying about 3 bucks a mile but was curious as to why more trucks aren't there.
Quite a few friends have loads there and struggle -
It may stay the I know better attitude. We are all just spikes in a wheel. Once brokers get to a point that they no longer offer #### rates we can all get along. Minimum is $2.00 for van and $3.00 for flat. Yes I can get $3.00 all day and never leave the state. Most of the hauls are shorter and pay more.ShooterK2, Crusader66 and cke Thank this.

I'd love to leave the brokerage and do trucking. Sounds interesting.
