Fifth Wheel Transportation ??

Was leased to them. True non forced dispatch. Fuel card is a credit card so you pay credit price, no fuel discounts, pay $10 a week to get paid direct deposit, $10 a week for logs. When I left in December, I had two loads and my escrow to receive. It's February now and still fighting to get it even after proving I have money coming to me. The contract states 14 days for last settlement and 45 for escrow. Going on 2 plus months. Just something to think about

 

Did you ever manage to get all your money out of them? I had a fight with an outfit called Status Transportation out of Florida trying to get all my money out of them. Truckers Report helped enormously with that one. Had another problem with a Texas outfit called DMT in 2014, they are now out of business and again managed to eventually get everything out of them.
Every time you lease to someone you run the risk of this nonsense and if it is a big company it is no protection. Both Landstar and Crete ripped me off pretty good the worse one being Crete.
My buddy had the right solution.
Keep quiet and plan to leave then have a break down. Wait until all trips have worked their way through THEN quit. They are legally allowed to hold all eskrows for 45 days. Of course there is no guarantee they will refund that money so use the forum. I did and it worked.
Considering Fifth Wheel but will need a lot more information.

 

I see 5th wheel run alot of ads ON Craigslist too..must be a reason they cnt kp no O/Is & as far as STATUS they are a complete joke & waste of time.
