DRUG Testing question

If you hold a CDL and operate a CMV for the employer, they are going to require you to take a DOT drug test. If you fail a DOT drug test, the employer is required to file the record up to 5 years. At this time, there isn't a centralized database that the employer reports to unless it's a State requirement (like Texas.) DOT employers are required to request your drug test records from your previous employer. It the employer requires a non-DOT drug test, it won't go on your "record".

 

You may want to do these things BEFORE applying for the driving job of your choice, TO HELP CLEANSE YOUR BODY OF ALL IMPURITIES.

1) For the next 1 to 2 years, go onto a serious exercise regiment to get yourself into the best shape possible. You may want to contact an athletic coach to help you with this.

2) For the next 1 to 2 years, go onto a serious diet and nutrition regiment. Stick to LEAN proteins as turkey, chicken, and beef. Eat PLENTY of various fresh vegetables and fresh fruits every day.

3) For the next 1 to 2 years, STAY COMPLETELY AWAY FROM all cakes, pastries, ice creams, chocolates, candies, fruit drinks with sugar and fructose corn syrup in them, breakfast cereals with sugar in them, and highly fatty items as bacon. Also, STAY COMPLETELY AWAY FROM meats with sodium nitrates and sodium nitrites in them, such as hot dogs and various types of sausage meats.

4) For the next 1 to 2 years, DRINK PLENTY OF FRESH CLEAN WATER EVERYDAY WITHOUT FAIL. Also get into the habit of drinking herbal teas, green teas, and antioxidant teas. These teas will also help clean out your system. A good health food store can also help you out with the tea selections.

5) For the next 1 to 2 years, go to a sauna at least once a week. Be sure to DRINK PLENTY OF FRESH CLEAN WATER EVERYDAY WITHOUT FAIL, BOTH BEFORE AND AFTER USING THE SAUNA.

6) If you smoke or drink any alcoholic beverages at all, try your absolute best to totally give them up altogether.

7) If you use over the counter medicines, try your absolute best to totally give them up altogether.

Question now is, if you don't show, will it go down as refusal to submit to a drug test (equivalent to testing positive)?

(7) Fail to undergo a medical examination or evaluation, as directed by the MRO as part of the verification process, or as directed by the DER under 40.193(d). In the case of a pre-employment drug test, the employee is deemed to have refused to test on this basis only if the pre-employment test is conducted following a contingent offer of employment. If there was no contingent offer of employment, the MRO will cancel the test.

I understand you live in a legal state for weed and have been off work. . But there is no excuse to put your livelihood at risk by guessing the weed wont show up.. Go to Walgreens and get a test kit, pee in the container and mail it off ,within a couple days call the lab and they will give you the results. I think the results can also be read instantly but best to mail to the lab for expert analysis. Use an anonymous name if it makes you feel more comfortable. Don't take a test for any DOT related work until your test comes back clean.!

 

Like pregnancy tests, there are home drug test kits. You can buy them at Walmart or any drug store. get one that tests at 30,000ng i believe the cut-off for DOT is 50,000ng. If you pass the 30, you will pass the 50. Marijuana is detectable in urine for 30 days or more depending on prior use.

 

Maybe the dug test lab is next door to a MJ store and you can claim cross contamination.

I'll 2nd the comment above about using at home testing. You can buy thc-cooh testing strips for 1$ a piece on Amazon, order the 20ng/mL just to be safe.
