That's loaded miles this year. I'm bouncing around $2.12 all miles this year on about 22k miles so far. Last year was my first and was $1.74 all miles. Not doing that again. Higher deadhead and just doing what the dispatcher said last year. I go home every weekend and thoese are always kill me after I go home. I live in the middle of nowhere.

There is a new steel mill being raised up near Osecola AR near the river. You will be up to here in Flatbedding soon enough. It's not a big part of overall Memphis trucking.RollingRecaps Thanks this.

@BrokerVeteran1 you seem alright. This thread has been a good read.
BrokerVeteran1 Thanks this. -
Truck could definitely move without brokers. There is definitely a place for brokers in the market, but not every load moved is through a broker. Far from it actually. The vast majority of load shipped have nothing to do with a freight broker.

I think you're just trying to stir up hate and discontent! Shame shame

Seems like I always stir stuff up. Yesterday I had a co worker walk out.
She said I was being to harsh. -
Man, I've read some BS before, but this takes the cake.
I started truckin' in '96. Hauled my first broker load in 2015. After a couple more broker loads I decided it's cheaper just to deadhead home. So in 21 years I've hauled 3 broker loads.HopeOverMope, Lepton1, spyder7723 and 6 others Thank this. -

spyder7723, Ruthless and ShooterK2 Thank this. -
