You either make it happen or you don't. It's the results that matter.

That's the attitude that sets HH guys apart from other drivers!

It's not so much how many chains. It's about how big they are. I've move a pile of em with 4 half inch chains

As long as the tie downs are rated for it your good to go! I dunno why but down in the states most of the guys I see moving equipment use 3/8. I have 2 3/8 chain on my truck and that's it. The rest is 1/2.

It was just a joke. HH is outta my league. I can't remember if it was Six, but someone on here said there's a difference between doing HH/OSOW at a flatbed company, and doing HH at a HH company.

It was me. I worked at a company that tried to go heavy. One of them had the shop and could build any kind of trailer, but they were thinking axles and tires instead of axle spacings and bridge laws. They could do it, but they had no freakin idea what they were doing.

The other pulled oversized. There was no one in the whole organization that could answer the simplest oversize questions or permits or routing or anything. Fortunately, it wasn't my first rodeo.

I carry 10 1/2" & 14 3/8" chains with an equal number of binders for each.

I carry both, I'm not throwing a 20' 1/2" chain over a trench box, and 1/2" chains can be a pain on small stuff.
