Frozen trucker case

I woulda idled and ran the heater.

 

I would say i and most of you guys (no offense patty) would not be in this situation, but if by the stars above i was, 911, or take the firing as a gift from god. Not sue.

 

That wasnt a option according to the story

 

I read the case. his excuse on not being to idle was because he was below empty. It was his bunk heater that wasn't working. At least, that's how I read it.

And Franken tells the nominee that the driver had the option of dragging the trailer with frozen brakes down the interstate at 10 mph???
I'm glad the judge didn't make a hypothetical decision based on Franken's ramblings.

 

You misunderstand patty. What i ment was the law does not protect him becuse the law does not apply to his situation. You cant add stuff to a law that isn't there

 

Franken is a putz. And im in MN, so i can say that....

 

What happened is, a driver, in a crap situation, made crap choices, while working for a crap company. Now hes suing based on nothing more than a "victim card" argument. F trans am. They are despicable for what they did. But sue? Sorry, the law is not there
