Cr has set up a time for me to go join them but before I jump the gun again I'd like to see my options
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Well, CR England is a job anyway. Delay for a couple of days and try the others and take the best offer.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

Maybe Prime won't hire you because CRST let you go.Is CRST where you attended school?Between Werner and CrEngland since those are your only 2 choices I would go with Werner.England is more of a lease company. As a new driver youre not going to wanna do the lease program especially with England.

O/P is leaving out a pertinent piece of information, why he was let go from CRST.....This likely is why only CR and Werner would touch him. Of the two, I agree with Patty, roll with Werner.

I have done about a year at both companies. If those are your only options, go with Werner. CR England is pretty much as terrible as it can possibly be, as far as I could tell. I went there after a stint working for DoT in a non-driving role... no one would touch me, coming from DoT. Werner is pretty bad, too, (I did my first year with them) and apparently getting worse, but my experience still puts it ahead of CR England. Either way, get out as soon as soon as you can find somewhere better to go. Honestly, it's hard to believe that these are your only or best options. Did you set a truck on fire, or something?

What England has a reputation for doing is putting you in training, and then when you finish, telling you they don't have any company trucks, but we have a lease purchase truck nearby so could start tomorrow. The word is that lp guys are lucky if the have a settlement, and are not running arrears.

Every word of this is true, and only scratches the surface of the scammy behavior that I personally experienced at CR England. If you have any other option, avoid CR England at all costs. You are better off in jail, or sold into servitude. They are so terrible as to be unbelievable, and I mean that literally. If I went through the entire litany of ways that they wronged me, personally, (or people that I went through orientation with), you would literally not believe me. I have a hard time believing it, myself, and I experienced it directly. They are terrible people, and I simply can't understand how they have not been sued into oblivion or thrown in jail. The folks at Flying J who were ripping off fuel rebates are amateurs, next to CR England... (shutting up now, before the floodgates open...)Bean Jr. Thanks this.
