I figure it's like anything else...if it's so bad, then why are they still working it?!? ;-) I can even remember back in my 20's working warehouses...I'd start at a new place that (to me) was a step up and the current employees would throw all the worst of the stories my way...then i'd ask, "Why are -you- still here?" xD

Wal-Mart shoppers are pretty much the reason why I avoid Wal-Mart. :biggrin_2555:

So....you avoid every other store as well? Probably 95% of Americans shop at Wal-Mart, just as they shop at every other store.

I can do negative. Let's see where do I start. Oh yea the storm snapped one of our 3 foot thick pine trees.

I guess I have to go out there and chop firewood in the mud as soon the sun comes up. Oh joy. Noit.

That's just getting started. I used to watch recordings of Pinky and the Brain cartoons to take over the world before taking over the place in the morning at work in my futile exercises to assume power from the soon to be disposed of Boss.

To be fair, most of us manage to get away from the really terrible carriers after about a year or two, but that doesn't stop us from remembering - or sharing - how bad they were.

Those that are still with them, likely don't have better options... at least not yet. That does not mean that they're wrong...

The negativity is not frivolous. There is cause for it, and it would not be so ubiquitous, if it were all in the drivers' heads. Some of it may be exaggerated, and the positives may be understated, but it is not especially wise to ignore the negativity, just because it is negative, when it represents such an overwhelming majority of opinion...

It's a two way street. Trucking companies get exactly what they deserve, if you treated drivers fairly and communicated instead of getting the shaft then companies would have better employees.

95% of Americans don't shop at certain Wal-Marts. I go by one in particular on my way to and from work that must be the hangout for all the local meth addicts.
