    Wouldn't that be a ticket Pennsylvania would have to write. You're legal in New York.

    Probably falls under the catagory of revenue enhancement, with little thought of the actual legality of their actions.

    I think you hit the nail on the head right there. You aren't violating NY state law by going out of state. I'd take this to court.

    In TN, if you log no "out of state" miles for 3 consecutive quarters, they pull your IFTA and Apportioned tags. If these "out of state" miles are applied to NY anyway, and NY is like TN, that could create a situation where there isn't a solution.

    What is the ticket, violation they write it for.
    Specific state code you are violating?
    Ask OOIDA.

    I don't get it? You can't be in 2 states at the same time. Which state was the truck stopped in and given this ticket?
