I had a similar experience. Texas has gotten their stuff together as far as that whole process is concerned when compared to some other states.

Of course, part of the delay is the federal portion, but the state piece is quick and easy now in Texas.

Couldn't believe it today I was in 68 passed the scale house and shifted down for hill cop pulls me over said the zone starts on flat stretch before hill, he said I know you were slowing down but I already clocked ya, meanwhile trucks were blowing by us at 70, glad I didn't get a speeding ticket more pissed that I'll lose my bonus but hey I wasn't doing the 45 so I'll pay the 70$ fine and take my step and the wrath of safety, have a good week bud

So we lose our bonus for the quarter if caught speeding by a LEO? Good thing work is so slow here that I don't hurry anywhere!

If given a step, it will fall under Section A-Line 2 of the Performance Tracking Log (PTL) as a Moving Violation Citation (MVC) and remain active for 12 months from the date the event occurred.

    BackIsSore and jtg80 Thank this.

No, this should not cause a driver to lose a safety bonus. There was no accident, incident, or injury. However, any given safety manager could decide that specific moving violations a driver was cited for violated Walmart's unsafe work practices during a quarter and take away the safety bonus.
