    I am/was interested in purchasing the whole package thru Sherman, that's why I sent him a message on FB. I was dead serious, but after No reply, I figure he doesn't care. I specified what I wanted and his tuned. I guess my name has to be Rabbi or Craig to get an answer.

    Ok, had to go back and reread my own post to realize I didn't really type it out right. The tech told me there had been reports with some model Stryker, not a universal problem. I decided to be cautious with it and go with the Astatic, which I am quite pleased with.

    Yeah it is part of his lore, he is hard to reach, hard to talk to, always right because his videos show he is right and pretty much promoted as the best CB tech in the world.

    It is like trying to talk to Hawking about physics when you are taking physics 101, he won't even let you approach until you are deemed worthy of his presence.

    That seems an odd way of running a business. I'll still try and reach him when I'm ready to work on my piece, but I'll not approach the altar on bended knee.

    That's nothing. Read about what it took to get a meeting with Howard Hughes, before the Mormons took him over and he went out of his mind with addiction and most likely syphilis...in his prime a meeting with him was an endless series of hoops to jump through.

    Guy may be eccentric, but I'll still give it a crack.

    HES not worthy of my presence and I don't kiss anyone's butt for any reason... seems to me he's hiding out from someone... his arrogance probably did him in with someone or many others.... he's definitely not worth the hassle....
