just wondering. cause the sleep study center is booked until the first of may.

 

Still playing the waiting game as of now. Went in for my pretrip and driving test and passed. My current status says Post Offer Checks Completed. Still waiting on word about orientation.

 

ikr this has to be the most stressful process i have ever had to go through to get a job.

 

I think it's going to be worth it. This is my second try at WM. If I don't get in this time then I'll try it a third time.

i have been waiting quite a while myself im on a nightly ltl gig myself so at least im working andi am looking forward to the call as i have done all the other stuff and it says post offer checks complete to pose a question though not to be condescending but i wonder how many very qualified canidates wal mart looses during this process as everyones financial situation is different and some guys may not can wait? also some may be offered better or equally as good jobs i know here in the northeast ive already had offers for air liquide but i keep putting the off holding out for wm also it has got to be frustrating for the people at the dc who have invested time interviewing the guys only to have them grow tired of waiting and move on and please dont get me wrong im not downing wm as i wait and hope patiently im just curious how others feel or think?

 

you hit that nail right on the head. wm is one of the best opportunities one can have. but one cant lose everything they have on a waiting game. some of us come here desperately needing the better money and needing it soon.

 

I don't like the waiting but I believe that it's worth it in the long run. If you end up going elsewhere while waiting on WM that doesn't necessarily end your shot at WM. Little would stop you from jumping ship. Most of us that are applying are currently working elsewhere and would be leaving a job anyway. In the end the only one who may lose in the deal is WM.

Got the call today. Orientation starts on May 1st in Spring Valley, IL.
