Freight in the northeast?

    In 4+ years with Schneider I delivered to Watertown once when they still had the Petco account. Freight coming out of upstate NY is scarce. Buffalo and Rochester might be your best bet. Syracuse is iffy, although they do have that annoying paper mill there

    I live in upstate NY, near Oneonta, read my thread...

    Closest freight to you is Syracuse, both in and out...

    No way I would lease a truck with these rates...

    That's a 122 mile dead head just to get home or go pick up.. :(
    Doesn't sound too good to me. I'd like to have some type of life other then just running to pay for the truck and fuel.

    Some, by the hour day cab. Can keep truck at your house....

    Lots od loads out of Oswego and Montreal....

    Asphalt is good work. I'd put in a app and at least talk to them....

    I'll definitely be doing that. I have an enhanced CDL as well and a clean record so getting into the great white north is no problem. Appreciate the info
