Ok here's the deal. I have my Dot card and my Permit already for the state of AZ however I live in MD. I'm looking for information on how long could training possibly be for me. The only thing I need work on is backing turning and shifting. I was training at a small outfit in AZ. I was driving a 2013 cascadia dd15 auto 10 speed so I haven't shift a stick yet. Now my dilemma Is that I'm in MD but my Permit and paperwork is all for the state of AZ. What should I do to finish being trained?
Have Cdl Permit already can my training be completed quicker

You looking to go straight into driving out do you have an employer already picked out? My CDL school required is to have our permit before we were even allowed to drive.

Im not certain you can have both a Maryland CDL and a Arizona CDL Permit.
Maryland is your residence, therefore you will test with a Semi truck in Maryland to get your CDL there. You cannot have two CDL's in both MD and AZ. Your Residence determines your CDL.
You can hire on to any company anywhere in the USA once you have a full CDL, you will not be going through training "Quicker" Get that word "Quicker" out of your mind right now.
Trucking is something that will likely train you with a trainer for weeks and a few months at a minimum. Then you will be tested again. IF you pass, you are given your own truck and off you go. You will constantly learn.
Im sorry I cannot offer much else, your post is sparing on details and my knowledge of training and CDL permits etc is limited since I am or was grandfathered for decades. My only renewal is essentially a Eye test, written test and payment of fee plus a photo. That's it. My actual road trip test was a Class A back in the 80's at Glen Burnie Maryland which most everyone who lives there know a really tough area.BlackThought Thanks this. -

A formal trucking school in Maryland or nearby area will be way better than attempting to train on the big road across the United States. -
Check Contract Freighters Inc. to finish your training. It's a dry van company that runs 48 states. www.cfidrive.com
The pay is pretty good and you can bump on up to .40 cpm pretty quickly.TruckermanD Thanks this. -
