I'm of the opinion caffeine content should be listed on the nutrition label, just like everything else. Yeah I want to know calories and sodium and sugar, etc., but I also want to know caffeine. Yet they only list it in the ingredients and don't say how much is in there.

I am very sensitive to caffeine. I use it sparingly and only when necessary (overnight runs, for example). One bottle of cola is enough to make my stomach queasy and my heart race. Keeps me awake, though! Even if I got no sleep all day and then have to stay up all night. It's very effective!

I'm sure I'm one of the people an energy drink would kill. That's why I've never bought one.

Next thing you know they're going to start requiring buyers to be 18 and start stocking these things in the pharmacy section. I drank Monster while I was driving on the road and not once did I feel like my life was in danger. Maybe because I had sense enough to know that everything should be taken in moderation?:biggrin_25512:

How does that work? Alcohol and caffeine are complete opposites chemical-wise.

I noticed that if I drink to much of the energy drinks (even if it just one a day), that I was starting to have joint pain and charliehorses. Have to drink a lot of milk to prevent those. Since I haven't had of those drinks for almost a month, no more pain or ch's.
