Don't forget to handle driver reimbursements for reconciliation purposes ...
Scale tickets, parking receipts, lumper charges, toll/gate fees, lights/bulbs, etc. These are what carriers are very prone to "lose".

I always know what my paycheck should be a week before I actually get it.Then I just look at the biggest number and already know if it's right or wrong.If it's wrong (seldom) I investigate further.

Maybe include days off per week defined as 24 hours off. Also a pay per day calculation would allow for more accurate company comparison. 2500 miles at .40 com pays 1,000. It's a much better job if you work 5 days for it than 7.
