I do not have the authority to discuss pricing but it's probably going to be about the same as our standard Cat-holset conversion if not a few bucks more.

What is the best turbo to get for the cats and where do you get it?
I'm looking for a turbo to keep the temps down and also be able to support more power in the future without having to spend the money again later on a new turbo

I have been told I paid too much but you might be able to get it cheaper in the States.
I have a Garrett ball bearing type turbo off the shelf it bolts on with no modifications it is rated to 950hp and max 2100cfm on my stock engine it would boost to 36psi but had bad turbo lag after injector change it eliminated any lag and would boost to 50psi it is also built a lot stronger and the shaft is a lot bigger than stock.
On the stock engine if you keep it above 1500rpm while working it would keep temps down to 900*F with lower water temps as well.
The part number is :752085 see if you can find out more about.

Check out MI turbos stage 3 (800hp), it use to cost around $1500. They have a web site its basicaly michiganturbo and you know the rest (cant post links here) But since you have a box i would go for the stage 5, it will support 1000whp and its not to laggy, $2500. This is the turbo im running.

To me it seems like Holset HT4CT, you can have it with at least 3 different size exhaust housings, no. 26, 29 and 32. I think even 26 is bigger than your "HUGE" MI Turbo has. HT4 supports at least 1400 hp.

Its a custom one off turbo, heard some stuff about it. They are using the same exhaust housing as the "MI stg 5" borg warner which is all ill say.

The borg warner im using is good to 1000-1100 at the wheel so its not far off. Chill out man, ive never said it was "huge". I think for the price its a very good turbo and obviously it works for me.

I was talking about the old PP Cat/Holset conversion, dont know anything about the new one. If it's based on Borg Warner it will be much more efficient than HT4 because that Holset is quite old design. I have heard Borg Warner turbos have the best compressor design for very high pressures. You can also have some special billet compressor wheels for them but they are not cheap.

My posts might sound agressive sometimes but dont take them too seriously. I just want to have intelligent discussion and different opinions about diesel engine tuning . And english is not my main language so I'm little limited on words.
