and to think people let pythons go or they escape in Florida..

I'll call it urban legend...

 

me thinks you don't watch animal planet or reality rescue shows

 

considering how big pythons and anacondas can get, those rescue shows only show the small stuff. I dont think they want to scare the public

Had a red tailed boa, I guess they grow around 13 ft max, what I had was 5.5 feet, big enough to eat a medium size rabbit, its diet was full grown rats, once a month, the other half developed a fear and gave it to a local pet shop while I was gone. the pet shop sold it

 

You, too, can hunt pythons. One Florida agency is offering to pay you to kill them
