Those beach marks (look like fine waves in the sand) usually indicate fatigue fracture. The trunnion end probably had a hairline fracture in it for a while and when you stepped on it, it was too weak to handle the torque and sheared apart.

Red-i is what I use.

I'm otr pulling a reefer 2013 isx .
I grease around 7500 .
Drain oil around 15000.
Fuel filters around 30000.
6% idle time and baby it .
Sometimes it goes a little over and sometimes less .
But that's my baseline .

Can anyone recommend a grease fitting that makes u-joints easy to grease? I use lock n lube xl grease coupler and its a little difficult. Thanks in advance.
