McLane.
Pepsi is a big hassle and back breaking work. The hassle is dealing with the village idiot employees in grocery stores. They will make your life miserable and nothing you can do about it because they're the customer.ur2ez83, Suspect Zero and Puppage Thank this. -

McLane, better pay, less heavy stuff.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Replace "employees in grocery stores" with "managers in restaurants", 2 sides of the same coin to be sure.
I see a lot of mcclane guys doing key drops, the holy grail of foodservice (if there is one lol). I'd choose them, all else being equal.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Depends on what locations. Some of Mclane is dedicated to chains. Some Mclanes run convenience store deliveries. Some run mom and pop restaurant delivery. Out of those three the Mom and Pop (or one offs) are the toughest deliveries. Usually small kitchens and you have to hand truck it all in. Second hardest would be the chain accounts. This would be just slightly less hard than Pepsi. The least hardest would be a Mclanes location running the convenience store accounts. Drop the ramp in the front door and go to town. That being said, 90 percent of the mclanes locations, the money will work out greater than it will at Pepsi.

Very helpful review, my location runs the chains
Looks like Mclane is the way to go.Chinatown and bulldawg trucker Thank this. -
If I can give you any advice, if you serious about making the money, tough the first 6 months out. After that it will come easy. The food service companies pay good for a reason! Good luck!
