so i have a pretty dumb question.... but i dont know the answer to it.
53 foot trailers..... are measured 53 feet on the inside or on the outside?
The reason I am asking is because i just had an owner operator call me with this question.
He said he measured his trailer from the very front to the back door. And got 52.5 feet.
Now the reason why it matters so much.... is because he is a partial carrier as well.
How would he count the feet from the back.... how would that be decided on how many feet he has if there is freight loaded at the front.. if its 52.5??
Sorry if this is confusing and stupid or doesn't make sense.... my brain isn't working today.
I told him I would ask the pros (you guys).
Maybe its a stupid question... but I need help
