I had tried all of the aforementioned tips but only the ArmorAll seemed to have worked.

I run flex slipseat Walmart Dedicated, I use the suction cup mount with a Rand 730...
I use rubbing alcohol on both then stick it... works well...

Seems like the alcohol would deteriorate the quality and integrity of the surface of the suction rubber over time, but noted

Also, I suspect regularly removing the device may work in favor of the lifetime of the internal "booster spring" since it not being worked 24/7/365

I don't want to know how you even thought of that as an option.

Over time when those suction cups don't hold that well, clean them up using dish washing detergent and then dip them in hot water for few minutes. Washes away dust (smoke?), window cleaning / dash cleaning chemicals, etc.... and softens them up (makes them return to their original form and pliable). Works most of the times, if that don't do the trick, there's those interlocking fasteners - like the ones used to hold up the Prepasses.

Well. ArmorAll Cleaning Wipes made a believer out of me. After a few days of frustration trying every thing imaginable to enhance the suction process of mine, only to have it fall a dozen times or more, I finally Googled some tips, and tried the ArmorAll tip and it's held fine, first time, and across some fairly bad roads today.

But I too also read that hot water soak will help them.

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.
