Not every one agrees with you. Me personally i think it's hysterical. People can claim it creates a danger while driving, but why the heck are you fiddling with your phone when driving? Set your route BEFORE putting the vehicle in gear.

I'm not the one fiddling with my phone, it's the yahoo next to me balancing a bowl of cereal in his left hand while he plays with his phone with his right that concerns me.

And you think he would be driving safe if not for the pacman logo on Google maps? That dude doesn't need pacman, he had ten billion other things to fiddle with.

Zero apps on phone and my battery lasts like 10 days! (S7)

I don't install apps....I just use the browser and go to yahoo, google, facebook.com....the old fashioned way....and hardly ever.....because I tether it to a Win 7 laptop when it is time to do any real work.

No updates EVER on my laptop. Once a machine is dialed in all updates are disabled. I may CHOOSE to install some updates over time.

I have been preaching 100% control over electronics firmware/software for like 20 years.

Beware of Windows 10 unless it is professional.

Not Ms Pacman. But I WOULD be tempted if it were Donkey Kong.

That's horrible advice. Many of those updates patch security vulnerabilities that can leave you wide open to malicious attack. Things where all you have to do is open a compromised website, and you're infected. Don't even have to download something these days. If you're actually running Windows 7 with no updates installed, I hope you do nothing critical like online banking on it. You'd be a hacker's best friend. (Including government actors who have a much easier time spying on you than someone with security updates installed)

Following advice like this is a sure fire way to have trouble in your electronic life.

I read about the Pacman app on Google maps here yesterday. I opened it up and handed the phone to my 5 yr old grandson at the house. He had a blast playing it.

I have been a tech for over 20 years and have manually removed every virus I have ever come across. Even the MOST secure and updated version of any Windows or ANY browser will let in the most recent virus's/malware....if you are surfing porn!

I have been banking online since 1998 or so. I have not used a criminal anti-virus (not opinion) in over 10 years or more.

As I said, I MAY CHOOSE, to install SOME security updates.....over time. Nothing is ever ever automatic. I have seen 300 machines go down over night because of peoples auto updates! (Win, Adobe, Ant-virus, all of them!)
