Volvo hood

    I have a volvo with a hood that has detached from the hinges, has anyone had the same problem and if you have did you go through your insurance company to fix it and did they give you any problems about fixing it?

    Why file insurance claim. Go fix it.. only time to file on insurance is if you got hit or wreck. Just my thoughts

    I already have a quote from 2 different body shops and they both told me I need a new hood, lowest quote is 8,000 dollars (ouch)
