    Actually i HAVE one of those!!! Two of the yellows are torn because somebody didn't take their boots off after a few beers, LoL~! (Wasn't me.... heh.)

    It is 57 feer. California only allows 57 footers with 65 overall length, plus the kingpin rule, so the 57s have a deep pin, 60 inches or so.

    TX, LA, OK and CA are among the ones that allow 57'
    WA is the one that allows on 56' on standard oversize permit.

    All trailers sizes are measured on the outside exclusive of accessories (like reefer units, lift gates). Wall thickness will determine inside dimensions.

    As eluded to, all the trailer sizes are arrived at by multiples of the standard pallet size: The 53' allowed two more pallets then the 48' it replaced. The 48' allowed two more then the 45'/42'.....
