Location for the night

If it keeps raining like this I might not even have to bother with it. Judging by the looks of my 2nd stop, I doubt anyone would even look twice at a naked dude scrubbing down on the side of the street.

 

They'd defiantly look twice - trying to figure out if they have time to grab your wallet before you got the soap out of your eyes

 

Home until Friday morning. Found out this week on a late 2nd load that i am definitely a solar powered trucker

 

I guess they'd have to decide if a lifetime of nightmares is worth the 30 bucks I keep in my city wallet. Some things just can't be unseen.

 

Meh. Give it a few months. After putting up with all the morons out their during the daylight for so long, you'll become a vampire too.

 

It doesn't help that for the last five years I have gotten up between 6 and 8 in the morning. When you've been on that kind of schedule for that long it's really tough to be up until 6 in the morning.

 

I tried a week running nights, it was nice without feeling with traffic but not getting enough rest and difficulty in seeing tandems in turns me it not worth it for me.

I will run an occasional overnight if it gets me home sooner though.

 

They are already scarred from seeing you with the first look. The second is just to figure out if they can be paid for their pain and suffering.

 

Amazingly I made it back to Kenton today. My 2nd stop was a bear to get into but they unloaded me in 10 minutes. Currently at the Beaver Dam J though. I caught a ride up here to grab a shower then it's back to the shop and Jersey City tomorrow.

 

Sapp bros in Cheyenne. Got the last spot. The last 4.5 hours were an absolute bear. So grouchy an tired. Then the last 45 miles, I got my second wind was ready for another 200 miles lol.
