Ive scoured the posts and even reviews on other sites. I been seeing where some people are saying that the equalization systems are making their tires unbalanced and creating excess vibration. For those that have or have had, whats your experience? Im thinking of getting the Crossfire kit.

I had cats eyes for years on my last truck. No problems and i loved them. As your wqlking toward truck one glance. You no of your pressure is high, low, or just right. Then only one easy to get to value stem to fill both. Plus when i had a blow out, the check valve kicked in. So the other tire didnt go flat. Dont no about cross fire, but HIGHLY RECCOMEND cats eye's

Some of our newer trailers have them. Other than that I've never had long term use with them. Seems like they'd be ok though.

All the trucks and trailers where I work have Crossfires installed on the duals. I can't speak for everyone but my truck & trailer and the truck that belongs to the guy I share a shop with have had no problems with the crossfire system in the 7 months I've been working there.

I had a nail in a tire this winter and the check valve kicked in so the other tire didn't go flat. Only thing I don't care for is that the hoses are in the way when I want to clean the wheels and it makes pulling the wheels off a little more involved job.

Love them myself. Always a quick eyeball check covers it. When its your rubber rolling then it matters...or it did to me.

When I worked for Penske we installed 105 and 110psi Crossfires on quite a few lease vehicles per request, but only on the trailers for some reason.

i have cat eyes on my drives and a 3 axle trailer, i like them not as good as the automatic inflation system i have on another trailer but allows you to quickly and accurately check tire psi just walking by the truck, and 1 fill port to fill both tires, there is a check valve that will keep the other tire up if you get a leak in one. i have not experianced any ballance issues with them. i would recommend them

Don't believe it. I've never had any vibration problems with my Cat Eyes. I had people tell me not to buy them because they leak. That turned out not to be true either. You just have to get them tight enough.

    Get em. They're worth it.
