So basically what you're saying is that I have to get out of the Northeast to enjoy a decent truckstop experience. I had a feeling that was the case.

I like Kwik Trip/Star, except that 75% of their "truck stops" don't have parking. Those that do generally only have 5-10 spots. Marston, Menomonee and Brooklyn are the exception, with large, truck friendly lots.

Well I'm home. A bit too late though. During my unload this morning my DBL called and asked if I wanted to go home or grab a relay first for after the weekend. I said home so I could visit my grandma. She died apparently right after that phone call. How's that for bad timing?
stevep1977, milehunter43, mindes and 1 other person Thank this. -

Thank you. She lived to be 95 though and was more than ready. I was quite fortunate in the fact that all 4 of my grandparents lived to be 93+. My great grandmother was 101 when she died! I guess both sides have some good genes. The only oddball was my father who died at 41 after I was born. Still though, those are some pretty good odds if you ask me.scythe08 and milehunter43 Thank this.
