GOOD CB Shop Ontario East?

    There is a fella in hfx that has a small shop..He must not do much for cb cause he installs home alarms to..I was at his shop ages ago and i didnt see any real test equ....There is a fella in quebec city area not far off the 20..He is on face book..RFTech in levis pq...No idea how good or bad his work is..There also is a fella in new glasgow area but i forget his name and no #..Again i have been to his shop and he has a ton of radio stuff but no idea of his work.

    Never had any problems. They cost a lot more but you get what you pay for. Got a range of 30 to 50 miles.

    Same here,i rarely have radio issues in any of my cb..Unless i goof up some how..I have a 60watts and i do most times have studio quality sound,matched a good mic and have a decient ant set up..So 30+ mi not skip is and has been done..

    Ontario is a CB province... I don't think many truckers use VHF here as they do in the Western Provinces.

    Ye old cb gets awfully quiet outside tronto headed east Unless you pic up the odd kicak base station or skip..Dead i pq and not alot better in nb/ns tikk you in the citys..

    There are only 3 of us speaking the Kings English on the CB west of Tar on Toe. And WTF you going to talk to?

    Yup. VHF doesn't really get too popular until you're west of SK I've found.

    Well unless the freq isnt on my 955 stryker and my ant can tune to it,guess dis east coaster aint takkin to no one..

    I don't go anywhere short wave would work for me. Cb is handy to have in some places to catch up on road closures etc. I have a new (to me) truck and it's not working at all. No output. Not sure if it's my old radio or the truck.

    Well durham radio in ont and rftech in que are the 2 i know of..How good they are is a question i cant answer
