I wish I had been able to get a picture, I saw a step the other day loaded with forklifts, each one was secured only by a single four inch strap over the top.

The first problem you have is assuming people these days think. Next problem is that companies are hounding drivers to get to their deliveries on time and not giving them proper training to survive an event like this. Driver thinks: I've got to get turned around to get going the right way, no better time than now to do it. Even though there might be a four way intersection a couple miles up the road he could have used to do it perfectly fine.
They are the same drivers that drag their fully loaded triaxles around in front of the fuel island to get out of the truck stop faster... because oh no, not 34 seconds of driving around the drive area to the exit. Can't do that. -

Not to smart on the tie down. How do they even get out of the plant like that

They look used, the buckets look a little rusted
thomasweil and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Matters not. He still could've used something a little more substantial than that.

But, what more can one expect from someone who apparently takes a break in the middle of the road?
Airborne, KillingTime, Lepton1 and 3 others Thank this. -
Not to excuse stupidity of course, but the fear of potentially going forward into a hole you'll have a fit trying to get out of is a strong one.
Week before last I had a residential delivery on a dead end road. The angle of the driveway required facing the other way before I could back up in there. I turned around in the chicken farm next door.
Sure, I could've went to the end and MAYBE have found room to turn around like on a cul-de-sac, but too many times I've see a road dead end right into someone's driveway.Airborne, Dye Guardian, Big_Red and 6 others Thank this. -
About ye younder from mr pig sits a row of tractor trailers, they are gonna want out sooner or later. I don't think there is enough room possibly for em to out. That *&^% pig sure pissed me off, not good in today's age.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Couldn't agree with you more.
I see to many flatbedders doing to many stupid things and it really makes you wonder where they left their brain cells.
I just hope I'm not near them when they get in trouble on some highway.soloflyr Thanks this.
