My guess is you could buy that truck for around 18000 I just bought 2007 volvo 670's for about 39000 less than 200,000 miles company specs I only bought 3 so it wasn't like I was getting a big break. Good Luck to you.

pretty good deal,what engine?trans?
still under warranty id presume... -
Remaining warranty, cummins with 10 speed nothing fancy just a good company truck put them up for the lease purchase program, which I know everyone here hates.
-
Sounds like a good deal. It is a buyers market. Lots of trucks for sale.
Johnn 5272000 what kind of freight do you haul? I live in Bloomington,In. as well. Family has 3 trucks. We pull 53Ft. dry vans. Need any help? -
HELLO FABER: A WORD OF CAUTION ON THE TRUCK . a detroit engine with more then 500.000 miles is riskey business at best if you have to have an engine with that kind of miles pick a cat engine and the price there charging you is high and truck pape is a good place to find some good used trucks unless your having to finance the truck but either way a detroit is ridkey business. NOW AS FAR AS LANDSTAR they are a good company if you have to lease there rates are good and they can keep you busy, all there loads are on there website and they give you a password and you can log on any time you want a load and if your wife is going to find your loads she can do it at home. they give you a comdata card one for your settelment and one for your advanches and they pay as soon as they get your bills . if you have to lease there an excellant company i stayed with them for 18 months till i got my own trailer and authority nice people to work with to.
hope this helps GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND SOUTHERNPRIDE

I too am looking at trading in my 92 Freigtshaker for something newer. I have had several conversations with friends, some prefer Electronic motors versus mechanical, and other prefer the mechanical. Any opinions, I lean towards Cats just because I know they are solid!

Well, If you want the option of working on them yourself, I say go mechanical, But your Electronic will offer better fuel milage. Cat is a good motor but alot more expensive to work on. I have a 94' International with a 60series detroit with 800+thousand miles and never touched the motor. Any truck with over 500k on it is a gamble, be it a Cat, ###, Det. I also have a 379 pete with a cat but it only has alittle over 200k on it, but I have a friend who just bought a pete bout a year ago with a cat that the top end keeps coming out of. 5 times they have redone it, its 500 or 5 1/4 but its a cat thing, they cant figure out why it keeps coming apart. I have to say also, Im very impressed with the fuel milage the detroit gets, it is 500hpr and does better than a 400 ### on fuel, but doesnt have the torgue my cat does, maybe the milage diff. not sure. Bare this in mind though "More horsepower, More fuel". Good luck.
