Congratulations! Their Pulaski (Cornersville) terminal is just a short drive down 65S from where I live. I often interact with their local drivers, most of them seem pretty happy. It will be nice for you to have that option in the future. It seems like their power units are always clean and in good repair and they have a pretty good fleet of newer modern trailers. I used to work for Shippers Transport in Nashville and I remember many of our management staff went to work for Titan when they closed their doors back in 2009.

A short re-cap of my first week of training; As could be expected, coming from a desk job of 16-years, I was little tired on my first day of driving. As the week went on, and I became more accustomed to the schedule, driving the first six hour shift of the day became easier. The trainer and I have been getting along quite well, which really helps, seeing as there are many reports and posts on this forum of trainer/trainee nightmare situations. Grading myself for the first week, I would have to say that my biggest issue is watching my signs... There were three instances of nearly missing a turn, that could have impacted our schedule... luckily, he is my second set of eyes during training and everything worked out. I set the cameras (in thr tuck) off twice, as did the trainer. Both of the times for me were hitting the road to bridge transitions that were not very smooth... The resulting bump, which was quite jarring, set off the cameras. We managed 3700+ miles the first week. The trainer said to expect 4000+ miles in the coming weeks, as he likes to run efficient and hard. Since the trainer has Platinum status on his Loves card, we get free showers and refills on all drinks... now there is a definite plus side to training...
The second week will see an increase in my drive time from six hours to seven, and I will be required to work more closely with the Qualcomm. I am off to pack the car, as I have a long drive to the terminal... more to come later on week 2! -
Nice update. Stay strong and keep focused

So, it has been a couple weeks, and every thing is still going great! The 2nd week started with a trip to Massachusetts. This was the week after Easter, so we only managed 2800 miles. The third week we made 3 trips to Florida for a 3000+ week. Now I sit in New Jersey, just across from The Big Apple for another 3000+ mile week. Training is going great, mostly Qualcomm work this week, with me driving 9+ hours a day. The next 4 weeks I will be doing all of the trip planning, driving and Qualcomm works as If I was driving solo. Still lov'n it so far...
