How hard is it to change a battery in a 730?

Never tried it yet, but not hard if like other models. Why do you think your battery is bad?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Lifespan on any battery that stays plugged in 24/7 isn't going to be great sadly. I know as I keep my phone plugged in while driving so I can utilize waze while I drive for notifications. Batteries start losing capacity after a year or so.

Still does answer the question as to why they think the battery is bad.

My phone is plugged in all the time and I don't see any decrease in the "on" time of the battery.

    Thanks,
    Mark

How old is your phone? As time goes on, the actual capacity lowers just naturally because of how everything works. When you are constantly keeping it plugged in, it'll accelerate that process. My note 5, which was about 1.5years old had dropped the total capacity quite significantly. It still worked fine obviously, however if you grab one of the many apps available that will show your battery health, and estimate the true capacity, it'll show the difference as time goes on........Although I forget which app I was using at the time as I switched over to a pixel. But there are many available in the play store if you'd like to do a little nerding out to check your battery capacity on your phone :p

Ah yeah, then forgive me. I've grown accustomed to talking to drivers as the years go by. It's generally rough explaining technological things in simple ways.

The battery lasts for about 30 seconds after I unplug the unit. I can't even type in my destination before it's turns itself off. Not a big deal yet as the unit usually never leaves the truck... but I unplugged it the other day to show a driver how to get to a destination and it wasn't long before it turned itself off.
