Well maybe it is real, I know they do so many of these staged accidents so it's hard to tell which ones are real.

WI only requires helmets for riders under 18 years old.

I am glad we still have the freedom to choose
Now if we could just get rid of the seat belt law, I would almost be law abiding LOL

Thanks for the correction. That's what happens when I live in another state for 5 years! I forget half the rules here!

I personally do not think seat belts or helmets should be manditory. I never wear a seatbelt, but always wear a helmet. I just think that the laws should be a little more consistant, either both are required or not.

Consistency? In this country? LOL! I always wear my seatbelt, and if I had a motorcycle, I would wear a brain bucket. I had to wear a helmet when I worked the harness racing circuit in Chicago if I was working a horse out on the track, so I got in the habit there. I always wore a helmet when roller blading or biking with the kids (I made them do it, so I figured I better!).

I had that problem when I heard about an incident my hubby's trainer at Werner had happen. A nut job on a suicide rocket hit the back of this guys trailer at about 100 mph. The result was worse than the picture in this thread, and hubby's trainer never even felt the impact (glad it wasn't when hubby was with him).

I have one from an ambulance call.

Same speed and vehicle hit a guidewire.
