That was not pretty either, I'll bet. That's why I could never become a cop or work fire/rescue - I have a very, very, very weak stomach!

It all bothers me. I'm a wus when it comes to that stuff. That's why I'm not in the medical field nor a veterinarian.

I can tell many stories that would not be appropriate. I have seen accidents that don't warrant the death involved. I have found cars in trees. I have not ever told my wife some of the worst that I have seen. Many of them I see all of the time in sleep.

The worst was as an actual witness to a rollover at 75 mph in Arizona. I was on scene and confirmed death and advised 911.

I grew up on a dairy farm, and continue to work there. I have seen many gruesome things relating to animals and it does not bother me at all. However, when it comes to people, I am a complete wuss.

Even though im not in the country, Thanks for the work you do/have done.
I know most parammedics do not get the thanks they so truly diserve.
After beign invilved within an emergency service, its bad enough to witness some of these things, much less attempt to help these people.

    RBPC Thanks this.

The sight and sounds of the accident were weird. It was like slow motion.

I called the owner of the ambulance company I had worked for and discussed it with him in order to relieve the stress. I had never watched such an event before.

As far as thanks, I have gotten them before from the patients. Some of them never know you even later.

However, there is alot less stress in trucking. I still keep the license active and legal.

A lot of you are missing the obvious!! Granted, the helmet is still in tact, as well as his body. The impact had to have snapped his neck, and/or crushed his chest. I am willing to bet that a broken neck is what killed him.
