If you're referring to me, I didn't "####" on anybody, just pointing out the difference between owning a business and a l/p, you guy are the ones that have your knickers in a knot.

It was any one person. It's the attitude of everyone. Weather you realize or not, you were ####ting on us. We are self employed. Pay the same ####ed up taxes as you. Pay for our fuel like you. So what we choose to L/P a truck. It don't matter how you bought your truck or have you own authority or not. You don't run it like a business, you will fail.Last edited: Apr 15, 2017
ladr, drvrtech77 and popcorn169 Thank this. -
Opinions are like a #####. It's ok to have one. It's ok to play with it. It's NOT ok to whip it out and try to shove it down my throat.

Just like western flyer xpress,I was on their contractor division, but treated like a employee.Forced dispatch,or retaliation, giving them hometime notice,no control of anything as to how to make me profitable. It's what the company has in there intrest-not yours!!U might as well be a employee,i dont know how they get away with it?They want it both ways;what a scam.p608 and MachoCyclone Thank this.

They get way with because no one stands up to them. And the ones that do either leave on their own or forced out. Not saying you didn't. But not all companies are like that.
-
Exactly.
I leased under another companies authority. They were overall pretty decent to me.
However, I had to haul their freight in their trailers when and where (for the most part) they wanted me to.
That is not the definition of an independent contractor, no matter how you slice it.
If you are dispatched to pick up load and spend a couple of hours getting there, checking in, waiting to dock and when you do are told they don't load 48' trailers all because the dispatcher missed that detail in the order, that's just too bad.
"Wait until tomorrow and we'll find you something." No compensation for the lost hours or anything.
I had no control of anything at that point, I couldn't book my own load, make my own plan based on what would work for me etc.
That's just one example of many times I had to take it in the shorts as a lease operator.
I tolerated it long enough to get my feet wet and moved on to my own thing.
Best thing I could of ever done.p608 Thanks this. -
There is no flaw in my statement.
According to your statement a McDonalds restaurant is not a business because it only serves Micky D's food. It can only be a real business if serves whatever it wants, be it Burger King, Applebee's or "home made".
What?! Where was price mentioned? Pablo set his price, not me. You are over thinking this very simple situation. It's not complicated.
TAdrvrtech77 Thanks this. -
Mickey D is not renting the burgers
-
Nope, you are, next.
-
It quite obvious you don't get it..smh
