I have a work uniform. Unless I miss laundry day at my house that is what I where when I am at work. When I am driving for work out of state I will not where my work uniform. I'd rather just blend in with everyone else at the truck stop instead of standing out with my companies name on the shirt.

Almost any shirt that doesn't have buttons is fair game for a work shirt. The only t-shirts I won't wear are concert t-shirts.
misterG, KillingTime and DDlighttruck Thank this. -
I have to wear fire resistant clothes to oil rigs and refineries. Shirts or jeans go for about $80-100, but it's possible to find sales. An FR jacket is pricey. I got mine on sale for $160, normally $300. That's just a canvas shell with no insulation.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Is that because those are your 'special occasion' shirts, northern? Lol.Logan76 Thanks this.

How about driving a truck wearing a suit and tie? Would it not make me a white collar worker?

Only in a trucker forum would a thread about a greasy work shirt turn to discussion of underwear and mice. Lol
