Just had to show this. I tried everything to communicate to the driver that he had a big effin chain dragging between the pups. Little sparks cause big fires. Worse case scenario, fire or; the chain gets caught and the trailer flips.

    I90E Boston-Mass Turnpike.

I know right? Oppressive time policies, cheap contractors and even cheaper drivers in a poor effort to compete with Brown....which they will never do.

Brown earned his spot at the top of the heap and you can't knock him off with cheap pony tricks.

Missed my point Ridgeline....a contractor is cheaper than a employee so there's less in the pot and then the contract driver is undercut from that.
It wasn't long ago I read a FedEx contract ad in Houston. .32 for pups.....1099 also...mandatory. Heck of a deal......

Yup, FedEx Freight Linehaul company driver cost 100k+ wage, Benefits, 401k match, Fuel, and wear and tear on tractor.

FedEx ground pays no benefits, no fuel, no maintenance on tractor. They only service their trailers. Pay and benefits up to the contractors not out of FXG pocket. Contractor gets a flat rate cpm & fuel surcharge to disperse among himself and employees. 7yrs ago it was .98 cpm for tractor maybe over a dollar by a hair. Why contractors can only pay so much to make a profit. Why the whip is always cracking by the contractors.

Contractor = cheap labor vs company driver

Not sure but it doesn't look like a ground trailer, unless it's an old trailer, tail lights are different. Could be fedex fright which are employees. Could be wrong though can't see the decals.

You might be right. Oval tail lights is ground. Regular trailer lights is freight. 90% of the time. Ground has a few flat pups. Plus ground has switched the decal to FedEx freight style to try and blend in.
