I wish the sandbox #### would take off more. I don't miss sitting in the sandstorm for 30min-hour, dealing with ####heads going fullsteam ahead on bin 1, and that ####in 100 mesh!!!

I remember seeing those sandbox guys and being jealous, but I heard the company is poorly run and not that great to work for.

I’m running Sandbox for a small outfit in ND now and see Rockwater trucks pulling Sandbox.

They seem busier than I am, always running while I’m sitting waiting for a load.

Rockwater and Tuttle and Tuttle are getting lots of work.

Sandbox pulled their trucks. About 3 or 4 Halliburton trucks are pulling some sandboxes.

It’s a good time for owner operators to get into pulling sandboxes Either sandbox itself, Arrows Up or PropX

Appreciate your sharing your knowledge about this stuff mike. I drove as a water truck guy in oklahoma for a couple years. Quit in 2011 and came home to continue my home building company in utah. Getting hard on my joints and saw these new things called sand boxes...WOW no hoses and pumps...just get a box, load it deliver it and pick up an empty.
Id be more inclined to be a truck owner as i have the self employed mentality.
Do we use their trailers? Id imagine so. A guy just needs the tractor and all the h2s and osha stuff right?

    Hmmm. got me thinkin...

All you need is a truck, PEC Safeland or OSHA 10, and H2S awareness. No need for respirator

Halliburton gives the trailers to a contractor that you can subcontract to

Arrows UP and PropX I see chassis for but not sure if you can buy them. Otherwise use a step deck.

I see arrows up and PropX sandbox chassis online that you can buy but very very expensive

Halliburton only lets you use their chassis

I’ve been wanting to get my Osha 10 but have seen there’s two different ones you can get, construction and general industries. Which is the one you want for oilfield line of work?

I’ve been in the oilfield for 5.5 years and I’ve never once been asked ANYTHING about it and I have OSHA 10 construction.

But I also have PEC SafeLAND and...
that one IS Important and in many places...is nessesary to have.
