I have freight liner classic with a Detroit 60. The fan clutch wont turn on.

A few people mentioned some sensors like the AC pressure and fan clutch solenoid does any know where these are? Or what u think could be wrong?

If your compressor kicks in often I'd suspect a leaking fan hub..otherwise it's often a AC issue or unplugged sensor

Need your help, guys. I have cat c15 with a fan running ON all the time. Just disconnected the air line from the clutch, started the engine and the air flows. When I turn the manual fan switch ON the air flow stops.
Does it mean that I have issues with fan clutch? Or possibly something wrong with solenoid?

If there is no air getting to the clutch fan it will stay on all the time. Once air pressure gets to the clutch fan it should turn off. Ch ck lines and fitting going to the clutch fan.

The switch is working, when you turn the witch on it stops the air pressure from going to the fan. Which turns the fan on.

If air is flowing through that hose, and stops when you turn on the manual switch, then your fan clutch is the problem. If it were anything else, you wouldn't have air flow at that hose at all.
