New PM, E-mail, Signature Rules and Permissions

To ALL,

We are no longer allowing links in signatures anymore UNLESS you are:

An Administrator,
A Moderator,
A Supporter.

IF you have one in your signature, please remove it immediately. We have been spammed by certain sites. This is disreputable and will not be tolerated! I despise these tactics. We are all nice people here, but spammers have ruined it for all. Enough is enough. We have reports of a certain site trying to actually take the time to come in here and get people away from here. To anyone, with common sense, this is wrong to do. I would never even contemplate such a thing to do to someone else. Thanks to all you loyal users and your support!


UPDATE: You may now contact a moderator via PM and e-mail a moderator EVEN if you have only one post. Previously you could not until you received enough posts. I am sure you all will like this setup much better, thanks!

Due to an increase in newly registered users PMing (private messaging), emailing, and trying to place links in signatures, we have changed our policies regarding how these now show.

You now must PROVE you are going to be a part of us for a while to use certain features. It is a new promotion deal we have just started...



less than 50 posts = NO PMing, cannot leave negative reputation for others

50+ posts = PM allowed





AFTER you cross the thresholds above for your amount of posts, your status will change within an hour or less.

 

Yes, sir, we have had enough and need to crack down. It is not too much to ask for users to acquire 50 posts for full power. 20 just to PM is more than fair. Sorry, all, if we pissed anyone off but we are protecting you AND us! Thanks, The_Rev, for understanding, we appreicate that!

 

Cool, Aph, thanks for sharing that! I was worried users would get ticked off at us, but we simply MUST do something to protect you and us. That is good to hear that we are at least a little more lenient, LOL.
