Just remove the OnGuard from your truck, drive on up to Meritor's headquarters in Troy, MI, then...
Keepontrucking2016, cway0283, Canadianhauler21 and 2 others Thank this. -
You don't have to remove it. You just need the parameters changed.
Go to the search function on the top, it looks like a magnifying glass. Tap it and in the drop down box in the first line it says search, type in onguard there was another thread that someone had posted you need to disable adaptive cruise in the cpc settings and then you can unplug your radar.
If I'm not mistaken there is another parameter that has to be changed so there's no conflict in the settings.Last edited: Apr 20, 2017
junebug1972 Thanks this. -
@junebug1972 it's cpc settings not ####pit.
Stupid autocorrect. And stupid me for not proof reading before posting. LOL -
I don't want to post how to do it on line in a public forum because someone will do it and run over a mini van full of babies killing them all.

well you can email me then i give you my number herbertthomas8@gmail.com

Could you send as pm? I'd really appreciate it.

What is the "CPC" and is software required and special wire harnesses required?
-
Common Powertrain Controller. It will require a professional edition of Diagnostic Link 8. You'll probably have to take it to a dealer to disable. No wiring harnesses required.
